Antacids, like Tums, and Zantac, Pepcid, and Mylanta will work for you. PPI's (short for Proton Pump Inhibitors) are available from your doctor and will also go a long way for your heartburn relief. You should however, be careful if taking any aspirin based, or anti-inflammatory drugs, as these will irritate rather than relieve your acid reflux. They might casue acid drug reflux.
